“You can bend it and twist it... You can misuse and abuse it... But even God cannot change the Truth.”- Michael Levy
Why do people get upset when you confront them with the truth? It's been said that honesty is the best policy. It sounds like the simplest thing in the world; but being truly honest with others can be a real challenge.Honestly, life's complicated. The truth hurts most of the time because it’s not what we want. I am not trying to generalize but most or maybe some of us want a fantasy world where everything is perfect. If you say something to somebody which is both negative and logically sound (truth) then their mind will have to jump through more hoops to dismiss it which can cause anxiety or frustration.
Well, isn’t telling the truth good??? Am I right Rum Rum :D!!
Thinking about it, if you shut the truth out and bury it under the ground, it will but grow, and gather to itself such explosive power that the day it bursts through it will blow up everything in it's way. Is this really necessary?
