STOP- THINK- REACT (STR Effect)

"Worrying is like a rocking chair, it gives you something to do, but it gets you nowhere." ~ Glenn Turner

It's sad that we live in a culture/society where everyone seems to worry. Turn on the news: someone got killed, a new super-viral flu is coming, terrorists are regrouping … and the list goes on and on (Alamak headache). Sometimes I wonder if everyone realize that they have the authority to decide how they are going to spend their life, and they could actually control the situations that arise in their everyday lives. For some people worrying is like a paycheck, every week there is something to worry about. If you think about it, worrying can be easily put to rest by deciding what things are important in life. Not that you don't care about the situation, but somethings will work out for themselves if you stop and think, before reacting.

I've met far too many individuals suffering from this affliction. Hopefully we will find a cure some day. Let's hope!
